What a difference a week makes!  Charges were dropped again all 19 Occupy Columbia members arrested for practicing nonviolent civil disobedience and defying Gov. Haley's 6PM "curfew" on free speech.  Occupy Columbia continues to camp out on the Statehouse grounds, now with tents, pending a legal ruling.   And Occupy Columbia spent this last Sunday cleaning up part of Rocky Branch Creek (photo) in opposition to a planned Wal-Mart there.  Occupy Columbia has endorsed turning that area into a Greenway and the idea has gained traction on Columbia's City Council.

Email City Council Members

Let them know you support a Greenway in Columbia and don't want another Wal-Mart or big box chain!
