We do not have a national security crisis on the border: we have a humanitarian crisis on the border as thousands of asylum-seekers from the Northern Triangle countries of El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras head north to flee poverty and violence in their home countries.  This panel discussion will examine the push and the pull factors, including the history of US foreign policy in Central American and current US immigration policies.  Featuring Dr. Ben Roth, Dr. Debbie Billings, Luis Garcia, and Dr. Breanna Grace.  Free and open to the public.
