World Refugee Day: Colors of the World

St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, Fellowship Hall

Come for a color-filled day of art, food and music with special activities for children hosted by the World’s Refugees Who Call Columbia Home.  Free.

A panel discussion marking World Refugee Day, featuring Loubna Mrie, journalist, activist, and participant in the Syrian uprising who is now living as a refugee in New York;  Caroline R. Nagel, migration specialist, associate professor USC Department of Geography, and Thomas Hammond, photojournalist who traveled to Syria, Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan to document the Syria conflict and refugees.
FREE and open to the public.  Doors open at 6PM.
